Twist the throttle of the timeless Heritage Softail® Classic and you are propelled forward and back all at once. Generously studded leather bags. Massive fenders with chrome accents. An eyeful of all these goodies and it's easy to see the inspiration for this bike was the early dressers. But in keeping with Harley philosophy, tradition isn't something to be left standing still. So we set the classic hardtail styling in motion with 88 cubic inches of refined internal combustion. The Classic's wrinkle black and chrome Twin Cam 88B™, available in carb or EFI, is rigid-mounted but has two counterbalancers to make your ride from yesteryear to modern day a very smooth one.

 

Road King

Step out to the garage and there it is, resting beneath the flickering light. The Road King® Classic. A machine dripping with the heritage of the open road. Giant headlamp and nacelle. Wide whitewalls on laced wheels. Full fenders. Generous floorboards. Detachable windshield. Tooled leather seat and bags. Just standing there, you feel like you're on top of the world. Then, in the saddle you thumb the starter and bring the EFI Twin Cam 88® powertrain to life. The feeling gets even better. Think ahead to the smooth ride thanks to a refined chassis and air-adjustable rear suspension. You'll make good use of the cruise control. But it will have to wait for daybreak. For now, put the key back in the pocket, turn off the lights and hit the hay. Knowing your Road King Classic will be ready to go anytime you are.

 

Electra Glide

The day we built this one, the world officially became a better place. The Electra Glide® Classic was designed on the premise that the long haul shouldn't have to feel like one. We started with pure Harley-Davidson styling, then added on all the necessities for putting on big miles. Like hard bags and a Tour-Pak® luggage box, 40-watts-per-channel sound with standard CD, big floorboards and a comfort-stitch saddle with passenger backrest. We wanted every inch of the ride to be perfect. So we gave it an air-adjustable suspension, triple-disc brakes, and a fork-mounted batwing fairing complete with all the instruments. In fact, all that's left is for you to fire up the powerful, reliable EFI or carbureted Twin Cam 88® engine and start taking full advantage of this ever-improving piece of real estate.
