Jim Ross

Hello from the heart of Route 66 in Arcadia, Oklahoma. My name is Jim Ross, and I am the managing editor of American Road Magazine . For the last fifteen years I have had a love affair with Route 66 that is still going strong.

My area of special interest is the evolution of the roadbed itself. Toward that end, I publish a set of fold-out roadmaps for all of the eight states through which Route 66 passes. This is the same series of maps that Trond uses for all of his tours. I have also written a book on just the Oklahoma portion of the road.

I have known Trond since 1999, and I always make it a point to meet him and his tour group for lunch when they come through Oklahoma. I can promise that you will not regret joining one of Trond's tours. He is not only a very nice fellow, he KNOWS Route 66. In fact, Trond knows Route 66 better than many Route 66 enthusiasts who live right here in the USA!
